Casual opportunity available. Salary ranges from $91.42 - $98.77 per hour (dependent on qualifications & experience).

About the role

As a TAE Teacher, you will deliver and assess the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, equipping students with the skills and confidence to become trainers and assessors within the VET sector.

Through practical and industry-relevant learning experiences,



you'll help learners develop the capabilities required to deliver, assess and support quality training across a range of educational and workplace settings.

What you'll do:

- Deliver engaging training and assessment across TAE qualifications
- Facilitate learning in face-to-face, virtual and blended environments
- Assess learner competency and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Support students to develop practical training, facilitation and assessment skills
- Create positive, inclusive and engaging adult learning experiences
- Maintain vocational and VET sector currency through ongoing professional development
- Utilise contemporary learning and assessment technologies
- Participate in moderation, validation and continuous improvement activities
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, quality and funding requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders to support student success

What You'll Bring

- Strong understanding of the Australian VET sector and competency-based training
- Experience delivering training and assessment within vocational education
- Passion for adult learning and student success
- Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills
- Experience working with diverse learner cohorts
- Strong organisational and digital literacy skills
- Commitment to quality educational outcomes and continuous improvement

Qualifications/Requirements

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) and/or a higher teaching qualification.
- Vocational qualifications relevant to the course delivered.
- Current industry experience to maintain vocational currency
