At Our Town Fencing, we're looking for a hands-on and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support the day‑to‑day success of our Derrimut store. This is a excellent opportunity for someone with retail or trade sales experience who enjoys leading from the front, building customer relationships, and delivering strong sales results.

What You'll Be Doing

- Supporting the Store Manager to drive sales growth and achieve store targets.

- Delivering exceptional customer service both in-store and over the phone.

- Assisting customers with product enquiries and providing tailored solutions.

- Coordinating orders and ensuring service, sales, and delivery deadlines are met.

- Contributing to all aspects of store operations, including customer service, housekeeping, stock handling, and load preparation.

- Generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships with existing customers.

- Leading by example and supporting the team to achieve results.

What You'll Bring

- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, trade,



or customer-focused sales.

- A passion for providing outstanding customer service.

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment.

- Experience working towards sales targets and KPIs.

- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.

- The ability to motivate, support, and positively influence a team.

- Sound computer and stock management skills.

- A current driver's licence.

- Physical capability to assist with warehouse duties, including packing and loading.
