As the Assistant Caretaking Operations Manager, you will support the delivery of high-quality caretaking services across a diverse property portfolio. Working closely with the Caretaking Operations Manager, you'll provide operational support to onsite teams, oversee contractor performance, ensure compliance with service standards, and contribute to maintenance and improvement initiatives.

This is an excellent chance for an emerging operations leader to develop their skills while playing a key role in driving service excellence, operational efficiency, and portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:

- Support the delivery of high-quality caretaking services across a diverse portfolio of properties.
- Provide day-to-day operational support, guidance and coaching to onsite Caretaking Supervisors and teams.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance, safety, presentation standards and service excellence.
- Coordinate contractors and service providers, monitoring performance and resolving operational issues.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of maintenance programs, capital works and asset improvement initiatives.
- Support workplace health and safety activities, risk management, incident investigations and compliance reviews.
- Monitor operational performance, prepare reports and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and site-based teams to drive positive portfolio outcomes.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience in facilities management, building maintenance, building operations, property services, caretaking or a similar field.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a portfolio of sites.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with teams,



contractors and stakeholders.
- Experience managing contractors, maintenance activities and service delivery outcomes.
- A strong understanding of building services and essential assets, including fire systems, lifts, plumbing and gas, would be highly beneficial.
- Sound understanding of WHS, risk management and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property/maintenance management systems (MYBOS experience highly regarded).
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
