Act Now Energy is seeking qualified electricians to join our growing metering team.

This role is primarily focused on electrical metering, including the installation, replacement and maintenance of smart meters. Previous metering experience is highly regarded but not essential. We provide comprehensive training, ongoing support and clear development pathways for electricians current to the industry.

What You’ll Do

- Install, replace, test and maintain electrical metering equipment
- Complete smart meter upgrades and associated electrical work
- Travel to residential and commercial sites across South East Queensland
- Follow industry procedures and maintain high safety and quality standards
- Accurately complete job documentation using an iPad
- Provide professional customer service while representing Act Now Energy
- Occasionally undertake regional work when required

What We’re Looking For

- Qualified Electrician with a current QLD Electrical Licence




- Metering experience preferred but not essential
- Interest in developing a career as a Metering Technician
- Willingness to undertake training and obtain additional qualifications
- Current QLD Drivers Licence
- CPR/LVR certification, or willingness to obtain
- White Card, or willingness to obtain
- Own basic tools; specialised equipment will be provided
- Strong communication, teamwork and attention to detail
- Australian working rights
