The Incubation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the incubation process at our hatchery in Rochester. The successful candidate will preferably have a background in incubation and animal husbandry, as well as experience in a supervisory role. The Incubation Supervisor will lead a team of incubation technicians to ensure that eggs are properly cared for and hatched in a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise a team of incubation technicians
- Monitor and adjust incubation parameters to ensure optimal hatch rates
- Ensure that eggs are handled and stored properly to prevent contamination
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate with other departments to coordinate hatch schedules and deliveries
- Train new employees on proper incubation techniques and procedures
- Keep accurate records of hatch rates, egg fertility, and other relevant data
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the incubation process
- Implement and enforce biosecurity protocols to prevent the spread of disease

Qualifications:

- Experience in incubation or animal husbandrypreferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
