Leakseeker is a specialist water leak detection and underground service locating business based in Bendigo. Our work goes well beyond standard pool leak detection - we locate hidden water leaks in pools, spas, underground pipework, residential properties, commercial sites and civil infrastructure.

Using advanced acoustic technology, pressure testing, tracer gas, dye testing, thermal diagnostics and hands-on investigative techniques, we help find leaks accurately while minimising unnecessary digging, demolition or disruption.

It’s part trade, part problem-solving, and part detective work.

About the Role

As a Trainee Leak Detection Technician, you’ll work alongside our lead technician while learning how to locate leaks in a range of real-world situations.

Some days you may be working around swimming pools and spas. Other days you may be helping locate an underground water leak, pressure testing pipework, assisting with a commercial leak investigation, or using specialist equipment to help narrow down a hidden problem.

Every job is different. You’ll be learning how to use electronic listening equipment, pressure testing gear, tracer gas, dye testing, thermal imaging and other specialist tools. You’ll also assist with documenting findings, taking photos, recording results and explaining outcomes clearly to clients.





This is a field-based role that suits someone who enjoys technical work, practical problem-solving, working outdoors and taking pride in finding answers where others can’t.

What We’re Looking For

- A practical, hands-on person who enjoys problem-solving
- Trade, pool, plumbing, irrigation, civil, electrical or technical background preferred, but not essential
- Comfortable working outdoors and talking with clients
- Good attention to detail - photos, notes and reporting matter
- Willingness to learn specialised skills, equipment and technology
- Reliable, professional and able to follow instructions
- Manual driver’s licence

Scuba diving experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
