TASKS & RESPONSIBILTIES

Promptly attend to and or assist with breakdowns

Carry out routine preventative maintenance as directed and proactively

Diagnose and repair or be directed to repair CNC manufacturing equipment unsupervised, including mechanical, motor control electrical if certified and able to adapt to and learn software functionsof machinery

Maintain records of repairs and equipment inventory

Assist to manage spare parts inventoryas required

Efficiently carry out work tasks demonstrating experience with automated machinery, and exposure to understanding adjustments, belts, chains, mechanical and basic repairs to pumps, gearboxes, all things CNC machinery related

Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues & improve overall machine efficiency.

Maintain a clean and tidy workshop enviroment

TO BE SUCCESSFUL:





Must have Strong Mechanical Skillseither as a TA or qualified Fitter

Experience in a similar role

Trade Certified or work experienced in Australia

Hold a Forklift License (bonus points)

Work autonomously, as well as under instruction

Display a positive attitude, and be an active team member

Be an organised person, able to think a few steps ahead of the task at hand

Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose mechanical issues

Ability to competently use diagnostic or test equipment(bonus points)

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written communication required

Ability to work alone, or as a team

Basic electrical understanding, S or D class or Motor control (bonus points)

Working in confined spaces
