Randstad is working with a high-profile government-aligned organisation undergoing a massive technology transformation. This is a long term role for an experienced IT Commercial Specialist or Manager, where you will hold responsibility for the implementation and management of commercial contracts with major partners. You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced project leadership team, in an organisation which is agile and open to diverse thinking.

Due to a massive infrastructure and software overhaul, a current position has been created for an ICT Commercial Specialist or Manager.

Your new role will involve:

- Negotiation and ongoing contracts management of high value IT agreements with major technology vendors, ensuring mutually beneficial commercial outcomes.
- Acting as the point of contact for all contract related queries from vendors and all other external and internal stakeholders.
- Translating highly complex IT contracts, milestones, and service levels into actionable guidance for the on-the-ground technical project team.
- Managing contract variations, compliance items, and performance tracking.
- Maintaining reporting tools, including Power BI dashboards,



to monitor vendor performance and project metrics.
- Ensuring adherence to contractual obligations to the client for all commercial correspondence.

The successful candidate will have:

- Prior commercial and contracts management experience from a complex IT, software, or technology project environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of IT contract structures (experience with government eServices contract frameworks will be highly regarded).
- A hands-on, highly applied approach with the ability to translate complex contractual risks and technical terminology to non-legal technical teams.
- You will be a confident negotiator, with demonstrable experience in achieving holistic, mutually beneficial commercial outcomes for your business and your vendors.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills in order to build relationships and rapport with all levels of staff and clients.
