We are currently seeking a proactive, hands- on Linen Distribution Supervisor to lead our onsite linen operations at our client site Mater Springfield Hospital.

Reporting to the Coordinator – Cleaning Services, you will be responsible for the efficient, secure and client focused delivery of linen services on site. This is a frontline supervisory role, combining day-to-day operational work with leadership, client contact and continuous improvement.

It is a permanent Full-Time – Monday to Friday 06:00 am to 2:06 pm. There may be some overtime required, depending on business needs.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing all linen orders for Mater Springfield based on occupancy levels and client feedback, balancing stock on site with order efficiency.

Coordinating day-to-day distribution of clean linen to both Clinical and Non-Clinical Wards from the Springfield dock.

Supervising all onsite linen activities, including clean and soiled storage, to meet client standards and infection control requirements.





Working closely with the HCC Springfield Periodic Team to ensure effective soiled collection, empty tub delivery and waste disposal.

Recording and reporting client feedback through the systems provided to support production in meeting client needs.

Partnering with other HCS staff to deliver prompt, professional and efficient service to all clients.

Monitoring onsite trolley stock quality and cleanliness and applying the HCL Red Tag process for trolleys requiring repair.

Collating and providing accurate reports on stock shortages and short deliveries.

Ensuring clean and soiled linen storage areas (dock and wards) are maintained in a clean, tidy and orderly manner at all times.

Performing administrative and supervisory duties to ensure efficient and cost-effective operation within budget.

Monitoring and controlling KPIs within your area of responsibility and reporting variances to the Operations Manager – Laundry.

Representing Holy Cross Services in a positive and professional manner with all internal and external stakeholders.

About You

You will bring:

Mandatory NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).

Mandatory Working with Children Check/ Blue Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).

Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills in a team environment.

Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated proactive approach to Work Health and Safety.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in a commercial laundry, healthcare linen service, or cleaning/environmental services environment (desirable).

Comfort using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn other systems as required.
