Hours: Monday-Friday | 9:00am-5:00pm
We are seeking an experienced Trade Counter / Storesperson to join a well-established steel and industrial supplies business in Brookvale. This is an excellent prospect for someone with a strong warehousing background who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service and working in a fast-paced trade environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders from a large range of products, including small hardware items and structural steel.
- Receive, sort and organise incoming stock.
- Assist customers at the trade counter by identifying their requirements and recommending suitable products.
- Provide advice on stock availability and expected delivery timeframes.
- Unload deliveries and safely move stock throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory and ensure the warehouse remains clean and organised.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service while supporting the warehouse and sales teams.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Previous experience within hardware, industrial supplies, steel, trade centres or automotive/spare parts is highly regarded.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with confidence dealing with customers face-to-face.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks.
- Forklift Licence is advantageous but not essential.
- Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship.
