Isaac Regional Council is seeking expressions of interests for motivated Plant Operators to join our Infrastructure Services teams and help deliver essential services across the Isaac Region (Clermont, Moranbah, Nebo, Dysart, Middlemount, Glenden or St Lawrence).This is an open advertisement – no close date. As a Plant Operator, you’ll be at the heart of Council operations; supporting the coordination, delivery, and maintenance of critical services. You’ll operate and maintain a range of vehicles, plant, and equipment, contributing directly to the safe and efficient delivery of infrastructure projects across the region. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving local roads, infrastructure, and services that residents rely on every day.

To be considered for this role, you must hold (or can obtain prior to the commencement) the following qualifications:

- Valid Driver Licence
- White Construction Card
- Minimum Level Two Traffic Management / Traffic Controller Ticket
- Demonstrated competency of, or ability to obtain, relevant certification for the operation of plant and equipment required for the role.
- LR,



HR or MR Class Driver Licence

Desirable:

- Minimum Level Two Traffic Management / Traffic Controller Ticket
- Demonstrated competency of, or ability to obtain, relevant certification for the operation of plant and equipment required for the role.

Benefits include:

- Salary $71,802.00 - $75,719.00 per annum (Stream B, Level 4 – 6) + allowances
- Nominally 38 hours per week (3 x 10-hour days and 1 x 8-hour day, Monday - Thursday)
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
