- Plan and prioritise blasting and painting work in line with operational requirements

- Maintain the blasting and painting areas in a protected, clean and organised condition

- Monitor paint, blasting media, consumables and PPE requirements

- Complete relevant inspection, maintenance and work records

- Follow company safety procedures, risk controls and PPE requirements

About you

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and is comfortable being accountable for their area.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in industrial sandblasting, abrasive blasting or surface preparation

- Experience with industrial spray painting and coating application

- Knowledge of paint preparation, mixing, primers, coatings and finishing processes

- Confidence using blasting, spray‑painting, hand and power tools safely

- A practical understanding of equipment preparation and workshop operations

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing a quality finish

- The ability to plan your work and manage competing workshop priorities

- A reliable, safety‑focused and self‑motivated approach

- The physical capacity to undertake manual and workshop‑based duties

- A current driver’s licence

- Forklift licence

- Australian working rights

Desirable

- Experience painting industrial, mining, oil and gas, agricultural or heavy equipment

- White Card

- Experience working with tanks, pressure equipment, pumps, valves, structural components or equipment fleets

- Relevant trade qualification or recognised blasting and painting training

- High‑risk work licences or other relevant workshop tickets

What we offer

- Permanent full‑time employment

- Stable, Adelaide‑based workshop position

- The chance to establish and take ownership of a dedicated blasting and painting function

- A varied workload across a large and specialised equipment fleet

- Support from an experienced workshop and operations team

- Opportunity to develop the role as the business and workshop capability grow

Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
