In this role, you will deliver person‑centred therapies and treatment plans that helps people with disabilities lead more harmless, independent and meaningful lives within the Narre Warren & surrounding areas community.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, or other physical conditions.
- Administering muscle, nerve,



joint and functional ability tests to identify and assess physical problems of patients
- Treating patients to reduce pain, improve circulation, strengthen muscles, improve cardiothoracic, cardiovascular and respiratory functions, restore joint mobility, and improve balance and coordination
- Provide manual therapy, heat, cold, massage, exercise treatment, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, ultraviolet, infra‑red light, ultrasound, rehabilitation programs, and other physiotherapy interventions as required in treatments of patients
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans to optimize recovery outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on techniques for injury prevention, home exercises, and lifestyle changes to support long‑term health.
- Refer patients to other healthcare providers or specialists when necessary. Deliver compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive care.
- Build strong therapeutic relationships to encourage patient compliance and positive health outcomes. Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, and expected recovery timelines. Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary settings.
- Participate in case discussions, care planning,



and inter‑professional meetings to support holistic patient care. Maintain accurate, confidential, and up‑to‑date patient records in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards. Follow workplace health and safety policies and infection control protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all professional guidelines and relevant legislation. Promote awareness of the importance of physical activity and early intervention in maintaining health. Stay informed of the latest research, techniques, and evidence‑based practices in physiotherapy.

Skills and Requirements

To be considered, you will need:

- Bachelor Degree of Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
- At least 1 year of work experience in Physiotherapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) Current
- First Aid and CPR Police Check (within the last 6 months)
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance

This position is a full time (38 hours per week, minimum) salary range $75,000 to $95,000 plus Superannuation.
