We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Clinical Educator to join our healthcare team in a vibrant community in Victoria’s West. In this full-time role, you will lead the development, coordination, and delivery of clinical education programs, fostering excellence in patient care and supporting our clinical staff to thrive.
IMPORTANT LOCATION NOTE:
This position is located in a beautiful community in Victoria's West, approximately 4 hours' drive from Melbourne. This position is NOT commutable from Melbourne. Please only apply if you are genuinely open to relocating to the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based clinical education programs for clinical staff.
- Provide clinical preceptorship, mentoring, and orientation for new staff and clinical teams.
- Assess clinical competencies and ensure alignment with national healthcare standards and best practice guidelines.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, continuous quality improvement, and patient-centered care.
- Work collaboratively with nurse managers and multidisciplinary health teams.
What You Will Bring
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications with current AHPRA registration.
Post-graduate qualifications in Clinical Education or a Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE).
- Experience: Proven, hands-on experience working as a Clinical Educator within a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Work Rights: Full, unrestricted Australian Work Rights (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid full time working visa).
- Availability: Commitment to Full-Time hours.
- Relocation: A genuine desire and readiness to relocate to regional Victoria.
