Behaviour Therapy Assistant (Females for Kempsey/Port Macquarie)

Desirable Qualifications
- Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, or a related field
- Experience or training in dementia care, diabetes management, personal care support, and/or supporting people with ASD or intellectual disability will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient approach to care.
- Candidates would preferably have Australian permanent residency or citizenship to be eligible for this position.

- Supporting people with complex needs and trauma backgrounds
- Providing respectful personal care and daily living support
- Implementing behaviour support strategies with guidance from our therapy team
- Helping clients build independence, confidence and connection
- Being part of a team that asks “What one problem can we fix this month?”
What You’ll Need
- Two professional references
- Willingness to work with complex behaviours and health needs
- NDIS Worker Check, Working With Children Check, First Aid, Police Check and Driver’s Licence
