Cardiff Based company is seeking an experienced HC Truck Driver to join our team in Cardiff, NSW. This is a full-time position that will see you playing a vital role in our road transport operations. If you have a strong background in heavy vehicle driving and a passion for delivering excellent customer service, we want to hear from you. DG License
What you'll be doing
Safely operating heavy combination vehicles (HC - DG license required) to transport goods and materials across our distribution network
Loading and unloading vehicles in a timely and efficient manner
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
Maintaining accurate delivery records and logs
Providing exceptional customer service to clients
Complying with all relevant road transport regulations and company policies
Restraining loads correctly and securely.
Full-time with hours being Monday to Friday with some overtime and weekends as required.
What we're looking for
A current HC driver's license with a minimum of 1 years experience operating heavy combination vehicles
Strong knowledge of road rules and secure driving practices
Excellent time management and organizational skills
A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
Excellent communication and customer service skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dangerous good experience/license would be an advantage but not essential.
