Duties

- Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works or events
- Use of Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic
- Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
- Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
- Complete site hazard assessments, SWEMS/JSA's and implement control measures to suit the site
- Report on site hazards and near misses
- Monitor traffic behavior and or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times
- To be able to give transparent instructions to junior controllers & lead by example
- Obey instructions from team leaders, foremen, or inspectors and auditors
- Control traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to protect maintenance workers, work crews and members of the public

Required

- Current Traffic Control Tickets :



RIIWHS205D/E - RIIWHS302D/EORRIISS00059 - RIISS00061 (or above) TC2/TMI2 & TC3/TMI3 highlyadvantageous.
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- First Aid certificate with CPR
- Hold a valid driver's license & willing to travel
- Own reliable transport
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time.
- Work within a team environment
- Own PPE gear
- Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts

Pay Rates

Ordinary Time hourly rates range from $35.55 (for a new entrant into the industry) to $37.99 per hour (experienced candidate).

Above pay rates exclude team leader allowance, travel allowance, long distance travel allowance, and meal allowance.

Overtime rates range from $49.77 per hour to $83.57 per hour for public holidays.

The key to a safe and happy workforce is ongoing training, mentoring and support for our team. We offer training for all staff including Compliance, Site Safety, Conflict Resolution, Customer Service, Traffic Control Refreshers and Controller to Team Leader Training.
