ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team in permanent part-time and casual roles.
In this hands-on role, you will deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care that supports residents’ independence, dignity and well-being, in line with Evergreen’s mission and HEART values.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate clinical care activities during the shift, including responding to deterioration, incidents, and emerging clinical priorities.
Ensure residents’ personal care and clinical needs are met through ongoing monitoring, assessments, and timely interventions.
Supervise and support Care Service Employees, including allocating duties, providing coaching, and ensuring an appropriate skill mix to meet resident needs.
Deliver and oversee clinical care, including wound management, medication administration, and management medications in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements.
Monitor, document, and evaluate resident outcomes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of progress notes, assessments, and incident reports.
Maintain equipment readiness and support compliance with clinical governance, WHS requirements, infection prevention and control standards, and documentation requirements.
Facilitate effective communication and handover between shifts to ensure continuity and quality of resident care.
Support the collection, maintenance, and reporting of clinical data and documentation required for quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and funding purposes.
ABOUT YOU
You are a caring, reliable and motivated individual who is passionate about supporting older people to live with dignity and independence. You bring a person-centred approach to care and take pride in delivering high-quality support in a team-based environment.
You will possess:
At least 1 years' experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Hold a current registration with AHPRA (Division 1)
Hold a current National Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain one)
Willingness to participate in a pre-employment medical assessment
Hold a current CPR and First Aid Certificate
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and team members.
Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse team
A commitment to resident privacy, confidentiality, and safe work practices
