Fixed-Term Contract | Allied Health & NDIS | Melbourne

OneStep Wellbeing is a growing NDIS-registered allied health provider delivering Occupational Therapy, Positive Behaviour Support and psychological counselling across Melbourne. We're looking for a commercially minded Practice & Operations Manager to work directly with our Director, strengthen our systems and drive our next stage of growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role — not a purely administrative one. You'll turn strategy into action, bring structure to a growing business and take ownership of making things happen.

About The Role

What you’ll do





- Develop and implement practical business growth strategies with the Director
- Grow referrals and build solid relationships with support coordinators, plan managers and referral partners
- Improve practitioner utilisation, billable hours and revenue
- Streamline intake, scheduling, billing and documentation workflows
- Establish and monitor KPIs, and prepare performance reports
- Support recruitment, onboarding and team accountability
- Help build a positive, high-performing workplace culture
- Support compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and audit readiness

About you

- Experience in practice, operations or business management — ideally in allied health, disability, healthcare or the NDIS sector
- A track record of implementing growth strategies and improving operational performance
- Strong grasp of KPIs, utilisation and revenue management
- Confident leading teams and working directly with a business owner
- Proactive, solutions-focused and able to balance strategy with hands-on delivery

Experience with NDIS systems, practice management software or Xero will be highly regarded.
