Trinity Public Care Pty Ltd is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical Practice to join our healthcare team in Gosford, NSW. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst making a meaningful difference in patient care within a medical practice setting. As a Registered Nurse in a medical practice, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting the medical practitioners, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position is essential to our commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community.

What you'll be doing

- Providing direct patient care including assessments, wound management, and treatment administration under the direction of the medical practitioner
- Administering vaccinations and immunisations in accordance with schedules and protocols
- Taking patient histories and vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight measurements
- Preparing patients for medical examinations and procedures
- Assisting with minor surgical procedures and wound care
- Managing patient documentation and medical records accurately and in accordance with privacy regulations
- Coordinating referrals and follow-up care arrangements for patients
- Providing health education and counselling to patients on preventative care and disease management
- Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic clinic environment, including sterilisation of equipment
- Supporting the medical team in delivering patient-centred care and contributing to a positive clinic culture
- PRE EMPLOYMENT MEDICALS including audio, spiro, D + A testing

What we're looking for

- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse
- A valid Australian nursing qualification or recognised equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR certification




- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in general nursing practice, preferably in a primary healthcare or medical practice setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with patients, medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a busy clinic workplace
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and workplace health and safety
- A patient-focused approach with empathy and professionalism
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a casual capacity with varying schedules
- Experience in community and maternal or child health nursing is highly valued
