People First Workforce is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a key role in expanding our presence across the healthcare, aged care, NDIS and allied health sectors. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong referral networks, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable revenue growth across our portfolio of brands, including Partner With Care, People First Healthcare, InOne Healthcare, and affiliated businesses.

About the Role

As our Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with healthcare providers, aged care organisations, hospitals, allied health professionals, referrers, and corporate partners.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives on meeting clients, networking, negotiating opportunities, and delivering commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

- Identify and secure new business opportunities across healthcare, aged care and allied health sectors.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from lead generation through to conversion.
- Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling client presentations and tailored proposals.
- Identify opportunities for service expansion,



cross‑selling and upselling.
- Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions.

Relationship Management

- Develop strong relationships with referral partners, healthcare providers and key stakeholders.
- Become a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Support long‑term client retention through exceptional relationship management.
- Work collaboratively with operational and clinical teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.

Market Growth

- Identify emerging market opportunities and industry trends.
- Represent the organisation at networking events, conferences and industry forums.
- Promote our services and strengthen brand awareness throughout Victoria and nationally.
- Provide market intelligence and recommendations to support future growth strategies.
- Work closely with marketing, operations and leadership teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting.
- Provide pipeline updates, forecasts and performance reports.
- Ensure smooth handover of new clients following contract execution.

About You

You are a confident relationship builder who enjoys creating opportunities and delivering results.





You'll ideally bring:

- Proven experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management.
- Experience within healthcare, aged care, NDIS or allied health (highly regarded).
- A successful track record of achieving revenue and sales targets.
- Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Solid networking and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Commercial acumen with a proactive and solution‑focused mindset.

Requirements

Successful applicants will require:

- Full Australian working rights.
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current COVID-19 vaccinations in line with organisational requirements.
