National Logistics Pty Ltd is a growing family-owned transport company. Our head office is in Melbourne with depots in Sydney and Brisbane.

We have an opportunity for a Linehaul/ Floor Manager to join the business. Due to the size of the fleet, this is a mixed role that supports the Melbourne floor team by loading and unloading vehicles during busy periods. We are open to training the right person if someone is looking to take the next step in their operations career and are versatile on salary for an experienced person.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

Scheduling our linehaul fleet, which is made up of company and subcontractor vehicles. Around twenty loads a day from our depots and customer sites.





Building strong relationships with our drivers and operations teams across the business

Ensuring compliance with NHVL and NHVAS

Building and maintaining relationships with subcontractor providers

Assisting with incident investigations

Conducting toolbox talks, supporting training and mentoring team members

Assisting the Melbourne floor and operations team with loading and unloading trailers.

Directing a team of forklift operators to load/unload high priority vehicles.

Qualifications

Experience with Transvirtual – Desirable but not necessary.
