About the role

Reporting to the Production Manager at our site in Scoresby, as our Maintenance and Facilities Manager, you’ll ensure our site has reliable, safe and compliant assets and facilities that support operational performance, business continuity and continuous improvement.

This role is well suited to an experienced maintenance or facilities team leader who is ready to take the next step into a broader management role. You will lead a small maintenance team, work closely with production and warehouse stakeholders, and help shape the systems, priorities and improvements that keep the site running safely and effectively.

In this role, you will be responsible for outcomes across asset reliability, facilities and utilities, safety and compliance, contractor performance, maintenance planning, capital projects, resource management and timely stakeholder communication.

You will have the opportunity to move beyond day-to-day maintenance delivery and take ownership of the bigger picture: improving reliability, strengthening maintenance systems,



supporting operational performance and building team capability.

About you:

You are a capable maintenance or facilities leader who enjoys solving practical problems, supporting people and improving how work gets done. You may already be a team leader, leading hand or senior tradesperson with informal leadership responsibility, and you are ready to grow into a management role with broader accountability.

You will bring strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, facilities, utilities or automated production environments, supported by a practical understanding of safety, quality, GMP and compliance requirements.

- You are trade qualified in an engineering, electrical, metal trades or related discipline.
- You have experience in maintenance, facilities or engineering within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or another regulated operational environment - pharmaceutical, dairy or food highly desirable
- You can coach and coordinate a small team, set priorities and follow through on commitments.
- You are confident working with contractors, maintenance systems, preventative maintenance programs and practical improvement initiatives.
- You communicate clearly, collaborate well across functions and escalates risks or issues early.
- You are motivated by safety, reliability, continuous improvement and helping the business perform at its best.
