Role Snap Shot

Due to an expanding client base, we are increasing the Civil Drafting unitand require anexperiencedSeniorCivil Draftspersonto join our Urban Civil Engineering team. In this role, you will prepare AutoCAD plans from concept and detailed designs (12D) for various residential and industrial subdivisions, sewer & water reticulation plans, rising mains, trunk mains and outfalls, main roads and other various civil works.

How You Will Contribute

As a Senior Civil Draftsperson, you will play a key role in producing high-quality technical drawings and plans for land development projects. Your responsibilities will include:

- Producing detailed AutoCAD plans from engineering designs (12D models) for residential and industrial subdivisions, including roads, stormwater drainage, sewer, and water reticulation.
- Preparing civil infrastructure drawings for urban development projects, including sewer, water, road and drainage.
- Collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure drafting standards,



project specifications, and regulatory requirements are met.
- Reviewing and ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards, council requirements, and client specifications.
- Assisting in the coordination of drafting deliverables across multiple projects, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

Our Ideal Person!

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Relevant tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma);
- Intermediate to advanced in AutoCAD skills;
- Experience in preparing plans for multi-stage subdivisions, including medium density residential;
- Exposure to design and/or qualifications in Civil Drafting highly advantageous;
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel);
- Understanding of QA systemsand their application to civil engineering projects and drafting; and
- A desire to work in a team where quality and communication are highly regarded.
