What you’ll do

- Design and implement robust and scalable software solutions using C# and.NET frameworks to meet the needs of our clients in the mining industry.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable tasks.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high code quality across the team.
- Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure software reliability and performance, contributing to continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies,



proactively suggesting improvements and innovations to existing systems.
- Contribute to the documentation of software designs, processes, and user manuals to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
- Engage in agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive project success.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability and performance.
- Assist in the evaluation and integration of third-party tools and libraries to enhance software functionality and development efficiency.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years of skilled experience in software development, with a strong focus on C# and.NET technologies.
- Proven experience in designing and developing enterprise-level applications, preferably within the mining or resource sectors.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum practices.
- Proficiency in database design and management, with experience in SQL Server or similar relational databases.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS,



and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including knowledge of cloud-native application development.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools to support data-driven decision-making processes.
- Previous experience in the mining or resource industry, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of this sector.
