About the Role

This is a hands-on and varied role ideal for a jack-of-all-trades with a strong practical mindset. The Handyman will carry out day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and light construction or fit-out tasks across multiple retail and warehouse sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Undertake general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep across retail and warehouse sites
- Carry out basic carpentry, painting, plastering, welding, and minor plumbing or electrical tasks (where licensed)
- Assist with new store fit-outs, refurbishments, and layout modifications
- Install shelves, fixtures, and signage as required
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors on smaller projects
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and ensure work areas meet safety and quality standards
- Provide practical onsite solutions and communicate effectively with internal teams
- Travel across multiple retail and warehouse sites throughout NSW as required

Skills and Experience

- Proven experience as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, or similar role
- Broad trade knowledge (carpentry, painting, welding, roofing, tiling, or general repairs)
- Strong practical skills and ability to complete diverse hands-on tasks
- Physically fit, reliable, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport essential
- Trade qualification (carpentry, joinery, or general maintenance) desirable
- Sound problem-solving ability and attention to detail
