As we continue to grow, we are looking for a People & Culture Manager who can champion a proactive and scalable HR and OHS strategy, support our national operations, and help shape a high-performance, high-engagement culture across the group.

Position Summary:

The Group People & Culture Manager is responsible for leading the human resources function across the Anmar Group, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic direction and operational goals. This role will champion people strategy, workforce planning, compliance, organisational culture, and employee development across all locations, while driving continuous improvement in HR systems and processes. The People & Culture Manager will act as a key advisor to senior leadership on all workforce-related matters, from recruitment and performance management to employee engagement and compliance.

This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and operational execution. You will oversee HR, workplace compliance (OHS/WHS), training frameworks, and lead the transformation of HR into a proactive, business‑driven function that supports Anmar’s growth and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a people strategy aligned with Anmar Group’s vision, values, and growth targets.

Promote a high-performance, inclusive, and accountable culture.

Lead initiatives that improve employee engagement, internal communications, and retention.

Organisational Development

Design and implement workforce planning strategies, including succession planning and leadership development.

Drive initiatives related to change management, role consolidation, and operational scalability.

Lead the onboarding and induction framework for new hires nationally.

HR Operations & Policy

Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including contracts, compliance, records, grievances, and termination.





Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with legislative requirements.

Ensure consistency in job descriptions, performance reviews, and role expectations across departments and sites.

Workplace Relations & Compliance

Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and dispute resolution.

Ensure compliance with Fair Work, WHS, EEO, and privacy legislation across all states and branches.

Coordinate return-to-work and WorkCover claims in collaboration with safety representatives and insurance providers.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Collaborate with department managers to manage recruitment for key roles, ensuring the attraction of top talent.

Manage end-to-end hiring including role scoping, advertising, interviews, and offer letters.

Champion employer branding and workforce diversity strategies.

Training & Development

Oversee the implementation of the training strategy (in collaboration with the Group Trainer).

Identify skills gaps and develop internal training and upskilling programs.

Monitor certification, licensing, and competency compliance across departments.

HR Reporting & Systems

Implement and maintain HR software systems to track employee data, training, and compliance.

Report on key HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, engagement, and headcount.

Provide monthly reporting to the COO and senior leadership team.

Lead, mentor, and develop HR and compliance staff to deliver high-quality service across the group.

Support the restructure of the HR/OHS department to build a high-performing and agile function.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations, or related field.

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in a senior HR leadership role across multi-site operations.

Strong understanding of Australian employment law and WHS regulations.

Experience working within a manufacturing, logistics,



or industrial environment is highly desirable.

Proven experience in change management, business transformation, and workforce planning.

Demonstrated leadership in high-growth or scaling environments.

Experience working with offshore teams (e.g., Vietnam) is advantageous.

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset.

Clear communication and conflict resolution abilities.

Empathy balanced with commercial pragmatism.

Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
