Working Hours: Friday & Saturday - 2 days per week, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM approx (as the role grows, Thursday may be offered)

About Us: Melbourne Arancini is dedicated to crafting delicious, award-winning arancini. We’re looking for a passionate, friendly and reliable Shop Assistant to join our team and help us deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Cooking & serving Arancini in a takeaway fast paced environment.
- Assist with daily shop operations, including basic cooking, inventory management and order processing.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the shop.
- Assist with content creation for social media, showcasing our products and brand.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role,



preferably in the food industry.
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for good food.
- Computer literate with good organisational skills.
- Well-spoken and proficient in written English.
- Punctual & reliable
- Demonstrates solid initiatives
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced role
- Current food handling certificate and a valid license.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn and grow with our company.
- Experience with HACCP is advantageous.
