About the Role
The Administration Officer for Property and Finance supports the operational administration across a range of operational areas including property maintenance and applications, safety, property record keeping and financial management/ bookkeeping. The role works closely with the Presbytery Treasurer, the Synod Property and Development Manager (Tas.), and the Administration Coordinator to ensure general office administration, event logistics, Church communities/congregations are supported and informed. The role works with other staff and volunteers to support several committees and ensures agendas, minutes and meeting logistics are provided in a timely and accurate way.
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday, based in Launceston. This is a fixed term role for 2 years with the potential for ongoing employment.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or at TAFE certificate level in small business administration, finance, accounting and/or property management is required.
- Understanding of property management administration,
including screening and tracking applications through formal approval processes, contractor induction systems, and reporting systems for legislative compliance requirements essential.
- Demonstrated experience with not-for-profit, faith-based organisations preferred
- At least three years’ experience in a similar role.
The successful candidate will:
- Be willing to undergo a Criminal History Check
- Be willing to maintain a Working With Vulnerable People Check
- Have the right to work in Australia full-time
