As our highly valued Lifestyle Coordinator, you will enhance the wellbeing, independence, and quality of life of residents through coordinating the provision of a meaningful and engaging lifestyle program. You will also be responsible for coordinating the home’s volunteer program, to enhance resident engagement and connection.

You’ll Also Make An Impact By

- Delivering person-centred lifestyle services that promote residents’ physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, cognitive and social wellbeing
- Building meaningful relationships with residents to understand their life history, preferences, strengths, goals, and support needs
- Designing, coordinating, and implementing an inclusive lifestyle program that reflects resident choice and aligns with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
- Maintaining accurate documentation of resident participation, attendance, preferences, and outcomes
- Conducting regular evaluations of the lifestyle program using resident feedback, surveys, observations, audits, quality indicators and participation data
- Coordinating the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and ongoing support of volunteers
- Providing leadership, guidance, and support to Lifestyle Assistants

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:





- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
- Minimum 12 months experience working within aged care, disability, community services, or a related sector
- Demonstrated understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and person-centred care principles
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systems
- Experience supporting older people and/or vulnerable individuals
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organisation, and time management skills
- Ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate staff and volunteers
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in program planning, evaluation, and quality improvement activities
- Driver’s Licence
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willing to obtain one

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following

- Degree level qualification in Leisure and Health, Community Services, Social Work, or related field
- Certificate III in Aged Care
- Current First Aid certificate
- Experience coordinating volunteers or community engagement program
