About the role

Our Avocado, Mango and Lemon orchards have permanent Supervisor and Orchard Hand positions on offer at our Promisedland sites. These positions are for both experienced operators and those who have a genuine interest to work in the agriculture industry. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who has a good level of physical fitness, willing to learn and enjoys working outdoors.



Experience operating agriculture machinery is preferred but not essential as on the job training is provided for the right candidate.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Scheduling irrigation shifts

- Monitoring soil moisture

- Following inventory management procedures

- Operating and maintaining machinery including tractors, slashers, sprayer trucks, mulchers and excavators

- Maintaining irrigation and pumping equipment

- Fertiliser, mulch and compost spreading

- Manual and mechanical pruning

- General repairs and maintenance of farm equipment and buildings

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a good level of physical fitness and enjoy outdoor manual labour

- Proven work history of a high work ethic, reliability and punctuality

- Display a positive “can do, will do” attitude

- Willing to learn

- Hold a current drivers licenceand have reliable transport

- Demonstrate effective and respectful communication

- Work effectively as part of a team

- Work independently and without supervision

- Demonstrated commitment to safety first culture

- Carry out responsibilities with due care and responsibility

- Forklift licence, Chemcert, HR Licence is highly desirable

What You Should Know About Our Operations

Our business is widespread, growing walnuts and almonds in the Riverina Region in New South Wales, pecans in Moree andmacadamias, avocados, and mangoesin Bundaberg, Queensland. In addition to fruit and nut growing, we also operate apiaries located in Temora, Nowra and Dubbo.

Off the paddock, we operatenut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba and Bundaberg as well as fruit packing and processing in Bundaberg. In addition, our shared services teams (Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety and People & Culture) are located across all of our sites as well as the Brisbane, Melbourne and Griffith offices.
