CBRE is seeking an ESG Advisor to join the team managing sustainability strategy and reporting across a national portfolio on behalf of IFM Investors, one of Australia's largest unlisted property fund managers.
/n
IFM's real estate funds hold GRESB 5 Star ratings, their flagship fund ranked first in its peer group at the 2025 GRESB Standing Investment Benchmark, and individual assets are targeting 5.5 Star NABERS Energy ratings and full electrification.
This is a portfolio where sustainability outcomes are tied directly to long‐term investment performance, and your work will reflect that.

In This Role, You Will
/n
/n
- Build and maintain ESG data management and monitoring across energy, water and waste, tracking performance against portfolio targets
/n
- Analyse ESG metrics and portfolio performance to surface insights and support client reporting, including contributions to GRESB and NABERS cycles
/n
- Identify sustainability initiatives and develop business cases for implementation
/n
- Partner with IFM's Sustainability and Engineering teams, CBRE Facilities and Experience teams and external stakeholders to drive on‐the‐ground outcomes
/n/n
About You
/n
/n
- You have a few years into your ESG or sustainability career and are ready to work on a portfolio that matches your ambition.
/n
- Two to five years of experience in an ESG, sustainability or related discipline, with exposure to the built environment or property sector preferred.
/n
- Working knowledge of NABERS, GRESB or similar reporting frameworks and platforms.
/n
- Solid analytical skills and confidence translating complex data into clear stakeholder communication.
/n
- Tertiary qualifications in sustainability, property, engineering or a related field.
/n/n
