About The Role
/n
The Senior Project Engineer will play a key role in the delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects across wind, solar and BESS during construction and commissioning.
/n
Reporting to the Project Manager or Project Director, you will support the safe, efficient and successful delivery of projects, combining technical engineering expertise with project coordination across contractors, the Owner's Engineer, and internal stakeholders.
/n
This role offers exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects with clear progression into Project Management. It's also an excellent opportunity for experienced Project Engineers from infrastructure or power backgrounds who are looking to break into the rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
The client values strong engineering and project delivery experience and is open to candidates who can bring transferable skills, even if they haven't worked in renewables previously.

Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Support delivery of renewable energy projects during construction and commissioning
/n
- Coordinate engineering deliverables across contractors, the Owner's Engineer, and internal stakeholders
/n
- Support technical problem solving, design reviews, constructability, and issue resolution
/n
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, reporting, and tracking against milestones and risks
/n
- Manage RFIs, NCRs, design changes, and project documentation
/n
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, regulatory, and planning requirements
/n
- Support contract administration, procurement activities, and variation reviews
/n/n
Skills & Experience
/n
/n
- Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline
/n
- 5+ years' experience in construction, project engineering, or major infrastructure delivery
/n
- Solid understanding of construction, engineering coordination, and project delivery
/n
- Experience managing technical interfaces, change management, and problem solving
/n
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills
/n
- Clear career progression into Project Management
/n
- Exposure to major wind, solar, and BESS projects
/n
- Technically challenging, large-scale infrastructure delivery work
/n
