Join Mader Queensland as a Heavy Diesel Fitter

Mader is expanding our Specialist Services team across Central Queensland and we're looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters who know their equipment and take pride in delivering quality work.

You'll gain exposure to:

- Breakdown support
- Shutdowns and major outages
- Field service work across multiple mine sites
- A wide range of mining equipment including diggers, drills, haul trucks, dozers, loaders, and ancillary gear

Your day to day:





- Fault finding and diagnostics across major OEM mining equipment
- Breakdown repairs and field service support
- Shutdown and planned maintenance work
- Working across CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, Terex, Sandvik, and Epiroc equipment

No two swings are the same. This is hands on mining work that keeps your skills sharp.

What we're looking for:

- Trade Certificate in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent (RPL is available for eligible applicants)
- Strong mining or OEM background
- Minimum of 3 years post trade experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
