About the role

Edenfield Family Care is seeking an experienced Lifestyle Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and quality of life for our residents in our residential aged care facility located in Yankalilla, SA.

This part-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing, implementing, and evaluating engaging lifestyle programs and activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents
2. Facilitating social, recreational, and therapeutic activities to promote residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being
3. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure holistic, person-centred care
4. Documenting and maintaining accurate records of resident participation and progress
5. Providing a caring, empathetic, and supportive environment for our residents
6. Fostering a sense of community and belonging within the facility
7. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Experience in a similar role,



preferably within the aged care or healthcare sector
2. Demonstrated understanding of the physical, social, and emotional needs of older adults
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with residents and their families
4. Creativity and a passion for designing and delivering engaging, person-centred activities
5. Robust organisational and time management skills
6. Commitment to upholding the values and standards of the aged care industry
