Operations Manager – Franchise Operations

Position Summary

/n

The operations manager is responsible for overseeing the operational and franchising functions of a tobacco franchisor. The role ensures operational efficiency, franchise compliance, network performance, profitability, and consistent brand standards across all company and franchise locations.

Key Responsibilities

/n

Franchise Operations

/n

Oversee the CGW franchise network and ensure compliance with franchise agreements, operational standards, and brand requirements.

/n

Build and maintain robust relationships with franchisees and provide ongoing operational support.

/n

Monitor franchise performance and implement initiatives to improve sales, profitability, and operational excellence.

/n

Coordinate franchise onboarding, store openings, training, and network development.

/n

Operational Management

/n

Manage day-to-day business operations, systems, and processes.

/n

Monitor budgets, sales,



labour costs, inventory, and overall business performance.

/n

Lead, coach, and develop operational staff and management teams.

/n

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, employment, retail, and other applicable legislation.

/n

Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to senior management.

/n

Lead operational improvement and business growth initiatives.

/n

Qualifications and Skills

/n

Experience in operations management and franchising.

/n

Strong leadership, commercial, financial, and stakeholder management skills.

/n

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.

/n

Reporting Line

/n

Reports to the Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director and oversees franchise and operational support functions.
