Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Demi Chef to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. As a Demi Chef, you will be showcasing your skills as part of an exceptional kitchen team, bringing new top-tier menu planning and design to life.

What you will do?:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently and efficiently
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Maintain a secure and hygienic kitchen workplace, adhering to hazard analysis and critical control points,



and food safety
- Contribute ideas for menu development and continuous improvement
- Collaborate and assist team members with various kitchen duties, as well as engaging guests to enhance the first-class guest dining experience

More about you:

- Previous experience as a Demi Chef, Commis Chef, or similar role
- Relevant culinary qualification essential
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Ability to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day-a-week roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
