We are seeking a skilled and dependable Popcorn Equipment Service Technician to repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and install commercial popcorn machines and related concession equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, enjoys solving technical problems, and is committed to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial popcorn equipment and related concession machinery.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Install, test, and commission new popcorn machines and equipment at customer locations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and heating system issues.
- Replace defective parts and components using appropriate tools and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain accurate service records, repair reports, and parts inventory.
- Educate customers on proper equipment operation and basic maintenance.
- Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and company procedures.
- Respond promptly to scheduled service calls and emergency repair requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service vehicle and work area.

Qualifications

- Some technical or vocational training is preferred.




- Experience repairing commercial food service or concession equipment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and heating systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 20kgs and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
- We will assist with training as popcorn equipment maintenance is simple and relatively easy to learn

Preferred Skills

- Experience with popcorn machines, warmers, kettles, and concession equipment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical testing equipment.
- Welding, fabrication, or refrigeration experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

- Frequent travel to customer locations.
- Occasional evening or weekend work to meet customer service needs at overtime rates.
