Join a Growing Maintenance Plumbing Team

Mate Plumbing & Gas is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced maintenance plumber to join our Brisbane team.

We specialise in maintenance plumbing under long-term Queensland Government contracts, providing secure, year-round work across schools, housing, commercial buildings and public facilities.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to be part of a growing business where hard work is recognised and rewarded.

About the Role

You’ll be carrying out a wide variety of maintenance plumbing work throughout Southside Brisbane, including:

- Blocked drains
- Burst water mains
- Hot water systems
- CCTV drain inspections
- High-pressure water jetting

What We’re Looking For

The successful applicant will have:

- Current QBCC Plumbing Licence
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Gas Licence (preferred but not essential)
- Maintenance plumbing experience
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently




- Professional communication skills
- Pride in producing quality workmanship
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
