About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Phlebotomist and/or Enrolled/Registered Nurse who enjoys variety in their day and is a natural team player. This is a hands-on role that blends clinical duties with front-of-house reception support, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a busy practice, genuinely enjoys working collaboratively, and brings positive energy to the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting clinicians with allergy testing procedures (skin prick testing, challenge testing)
- Monitoring patients during immunotherapy and clinical procedures
- Providing front-desk reception support — greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments,
and managing patient records
- Maintaining clinical areas to infection control standards
- General administrative duties as needed to keep the clinic running smoothly
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Qualification in phlebotomy and/or nursing (Enrolled or Registered Nurse)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine team player who enjoys collaborating and contributing to a positive workplace
- Comfortable multitasking between clinical and reception duties
- A warm, qualified manner with patients of all ages
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn practice management software
Desirable:
- Reception or front-desk experience in a medical setting
- Familiarity with practice management systems (e.g., Best Practice, Medical Director, Genie)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
