E-commerce Customer Service Assistant - Mandarin Speaking Preferred

The E-commerce Customer Service Assistant is responsible for providing efficient and professional online customer service, managing customer enquiries, processing refunds and returns, and supporting daily e-commerce operations.

The position plays an significant role in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction while ensuring that company policies, procedures and service standards are consistently followed.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to customer enquiries through email, live chat and online marketplaces, including enquiries relating to orders, deliveries, products and after-sales support.

Process refunds, exchanges, cancellations, order amendments and other customer requests in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Handle customer complaints, disputes and chargebacks professionally, escalating complex or unresolved matters to management when required.

Receive, inspect and process returned products, determine the appropriate return outcome, and arrange replacements where applicable.

Maintain accurate customer,



return and refund records, including updating inventory status and case notes within company systems.

Coordinate with the warehouse and assist with general administrative duties relating to customer service, returns and e-commerce operations.

About You

Previous customer service experience is preferred.

Experience in e-commerce customer service will be highly regarded.

Excellent written English communication skills, with strong attention to grammar, tone and professionalism.

Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage complaints calmly, professionally and efficiently.

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet response-time targets in a fast-paced environment.
