Blinkr Retail Service is looking for a Spare Parts Interpreter to join our team, at our state-of-the-art workshop in Essendon Fields, Victoria. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an automotive professional to apply their skills and expertise in a dynamic environment, contributing to the maintenance and repair of a range of vehicles. This role is an example of Internal promotion recognition with our previous Parts Star moving to Workshop Control.

This role would suit an experienced Parts person or a Technician wanting to take a differnet direction and add another string to their bow.

What you’ll be doing

Looking after our Spare Parts store, ordering of parts externally, receipting of parts, booking out parts to repair orders and ensuring the correct parts are ordered first time every time.

This is a unique experience, unlike in a Dealership where you source genuine parts throguh DMS applications, Blinkr Services is a Used Car Reconditioning Hub therefor sourcing of parts is through Non Genuine Suppliers and Automotive wreckers.

You will need to find and hunt for Parts all over the state and Australia and make calcualted business decisions on getting the parts here, sometimes optimising Delivery Speed over Price.

You will have the support of a team that works collectively to deliver in a fast paced work enviroment.

Comprehensive knowledge of automotive systems, components and Parts Identification.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex issues.

Robust customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate effectively with all Internal Stakeholders.

Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work.

Must have current Australian work rights or permanent residency status.

Must have current Australian Drivers Licence.
