Are you a strategic thinker who loves building relationships as much as closing deals? We are looking for an experienced Sales Consultant to join a growing Queanbeyan team.

This is not a role centred on extensive cold-calling, rather, it is a sophisticated sales position dedicated to providing tangible value to our existing clientele while identifying new business opportunities within the ACT/NSW market.

You will manage the end-to-end customer journey, from initial discovery and solution design to closing and post-sale relationship management.

What You'll Be Doing

- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the ACT construction and trades industry.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions.
- Managing the sales life cycle from initial site visit through to final handover.
- Collaborating with the operations and site teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
- Identifying new opportunities and areas for growth, able to offer value in every interaction and promote new business.




- Represent the business at key trade events to establish connections and reinforce market presence.

What You Bring

- Strong negotiation skills, the ability to build trust and rapport with a focus on long-term relationship building rather than 'transactional' sales.
- Having strong resilience and able to overcome objections when cold calling.
- Excellent attention to detail, a proactive mindset with a good understanding of what drives businesses.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the role - consultative sales experience is a requirement.
- Solid technical skills and able to learn new softwares with ease.
- Minimum 2 years within construction, building materials, or trade services sales/consultancy is desirable.
