Excavator Operator – Civil Construction & Subdivisions

J&L; Earthmoving is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our growing civil construction team working across subdivision and infrastructure projects throughout Melbourne and surrounding areas.

We’re looking for a reliable operator with experience operating 13-50t excavators and confidence working with GPS machine control systems in rapid-paced civil environments.

About the Role

You’ll be involved in a range of civil and subdivision works including:

- Detailed excavation and final trim
- Drainage
- Bulk earthworks
- Boxing roads
- Working around live services and within tight tolerances
- Reading plans and working from set-outs
- Daily machine checks and basic maintenance

What We’re Looking For





- Proven experience operating 13t to 50t excavators
- Background in subdivisions and commercial civil construction
- Ability to work unsupervised and within a team
- Strong understanding of site safety and civil standards
- White Card
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- VOC/tickets highly regarded
