Product Development - EDS Validation Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced and energised EDS Validation Engineer.

This position will play an active role for the design and development of automotive wiring harness interfaces, wiring architecture and related assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

- To carry out and coordinate EDS component validation assignments implementing necessary protocols and specifications to achieve a robust design release.

- Resolve problems related to the outcomes of validations.

- To establish and make modifications to standard procedures or methods required.

- Make independent studies, analyses, interpretations, conclusions and decisions related to validation.

- Prepares and updates DVP&R; plans that are approved by management to capture the responsibilities and validation target / milestones.



Weekly updates made to management with overall project schedule considered.

- Manages the plan and execution of validation and makes countermeasure proposal

- Conduct validation tests and inspections on wiring harness prototypes and production units, using appropriate tools and equipment.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience within an Automotive EDS team

- Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD design tool experience

- Experience of validating parts / ( DVP&R;)

- Robust communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of engineers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Computer Engineering
