RE-BUILT Group

Williamstown

Full Time | RE-BUILT Group | Melbourne Western & Northern Suburbs

Join a Growing Team That Values Quality, Initiative and Pride in Workmanship

RE-BUILT Group is a growing residential building company specialising in insurance repairs, maintenance works, builder warranty repairs, renovations and defect rectification throughout Western and Northern Melbourne.

We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship, outstanding customer service and professional project delivery. As our workload continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Building Tradesperson to become a valued member of our team.

This is a permanent, full time position offering varied and rewarding work, long-term job security and opportunities to grow with our business.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced all-round building tradesperson who enjoys variety and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Working closely with our Building Supervisor, you'll complete a diverse range of residential building repairs, insurance reinstatement works, renovations and maintenance projects across Melbourne.

While the Building Supervisor will coordinate projects and manage scheduling, we're looking for someone who can work confidently with minimal supervision, use initiative, solve problems onsite and assist in keeping projects running smoothly.

There will be times when you'll be the primary RE-BUILT Group representative onsite, liaising with subcontractors, communicating with clients and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to our expected standards.

About You

This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in all aspects of residential building rather than specialising in just one trade.

We're looking for someone who is genuinely multi-skilled and comfortable completing a broad range of building tasks to a high standard.

- Carpentry

- Plastering and plaster repairs
- Painting and decorating
- Wall and floor tiling
- Door, window and hardware installation
- Skirting boards, architraves and trim work
- Cabinetry installation and adjustments
- Timber repairs
- General property repairs and maintenance

While you don't need to be a licensed tradesperson in every discipline, you should be confident carrying out quality repairs across all these areas and understand when specialist subcontractors are required.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete insurance repair and reinstatement work.
- Carry out residential maintenance and repair projects.
- Perform high-quality carpentry and general building work.
- Complete plaster repairs, painting and tiling works where required.
- Assist with renovation and builder warranty projects.
- Work independently across multiple job sites.
- Support the Building Supervisor in delivering projects safely and efficiently.
- Assist with coordinating subcontractors onsite when required.
- Identify and communicate site issues before they become problems.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship on every project.
- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain clean and organised worksites.
- Build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Mentor apprentices or junior team members where appropriate.

What We're Looking For

The ideal person will be:

- Highly motivated and self-driven.
- Reliable and punctual.

- Professional in appearance and communication.
- Able to work independently.
- Proactive and able to use initiative.
- Organised and efficient.
- Quality focused with excellent attention to detail.
- Honest, trustworthy and accountable.
- A team player with a positive attitude.
- Committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Extensive experience in residential building and maintenance.
- Strong practical skills across carpentry, plastering, painting and tiling.
- Own required power & hand tools.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods.
- Ability to work safely and unsupervised.
- Ability to represent RE-BUILT Group professionally in clients' homes.

Experience in any of the following will be highly regarded:

- Insurance building repairs
- Builder warranty repairs
- Renovations
- Working in occupied homes

What We Offer

- Full-time permanent position.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Company vehicle (or vehicle allowance for the right applicant).
- Ongoing training and development.
- A supportive and experienced management team.
- Diverse and compelling work with no two days the same.
- Long-term career opportunities within a growing business.
- A positive team culture that values quality workmanship and professionalism.

Why RE-BUILT Group?

At RE-BUILT Group, we don't believe in cutting corners. We take pride in delivering quality workmanship, treating our clients with respect and supporting each other as a team.

We're looking for someone who shares those values—someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work and wants to be part of a company that genuinely values its people.

If you're an experienced multi-skilled tradesperson looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing Melbourne building company, we'd love to hear from you.
