THE GIG

We're looking for experienced Casual Duty Managers to join our leadership team at Morris Moor.

As a Duty Manager, you'll play a key role in leading the venue during service, ensuring our guests receive exceptional hospitality while supporting and motivating the front‑of‑house team. You'll be hands‑on, energetic and confident making decisions in a busy, high-volume workplace.

Whether it's leading a packed Friday night, managing functions, or ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations, you'll be someone who thrives under pressure and loves creating memorable experiences for both guests and your team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience in a Duty Manager or hospitality leadership role within a high-volume venue





- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and support a diverse team

- Confidence managing shifts and making sound operational decisions

- Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills

- A hands‑on approach with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

- Current RSA certification

- A love of great beer and genuine hospitality

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead and support the front‑of‑house team to deliver outstanding guest experiences

- Manage day‑to‑day venue operations during your shifts

- Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, presentation and venue atmosphere

- Support training and development of team members through coaching and feedback

- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless food and beverage service

- Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently

- Complete opening and closing procedures, cash handling and venue compliance requirements

- Ensure responsible service of alcohol and compliance with company policies and procedures
