Senior Quantity Surveyor - Quantity Surveying and Cost Management Consultancy

Our client is an established and independent quantity surveying and cost management consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality advisory services across major property, construction and infrastructure projects.

They are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team and play a key role in delivering commercially focused cost management solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients.

About the role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will work across a variety of projects, providing expert quantity surveying services throughout the project lifecycle. This role will suit a commercially minded skilled who enjoys client interaction, technical delivery and contributing to successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing cost plans, feasibility studies and detailed cost estimates
- Providing independent cost advice to clients and project stakeholders
- Managing project budgets, cost reporting and financial risk
- Reviewing tenders, contracts and variations
- Supporting procurement and project delivery processes
- Building strong relationships with clients,



consultants and project teams
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members

About you

You will be an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who is passionate about delivering accurate, insightful and commercially valuable advice.

You will bring:

- 5+ years’ experience in quantity surveying or cost management
- Strong knowledge of construction costs, methodologies and procurement processes
- Experience working across commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- The confidence to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
