An experienced small animal veterinarian is sought to join a friendly, community-focused practice in Melbourne’s inner north. This flexible role offers two to four days per week and is ideal for a veterinarian looking for genuine work-life balance, a supportive team and opportunities to continue developing their skills.
The practice offers a varied companion animal caseload with a balanced mix of consulting, medicine, surgery and dentistry. The appointment schedule includes dedicated time for client call-backs and pathology results, allowing you to work cases through thoroughly while delivering a high standard of patient care. You’ll be joining a collaborative team that values quality medicine, continuity of care and strong client relationships.
This is an excellent prospect for a veterinarian looking to further develop their skills. The Lead Veterinarian has a strong interest in orthopaedics and enjoys mentoring colleagues who are keen to build their surgical confidence and experience. There is also the opportunity to progress into a Lead Veterinarian role in the future for someone with leadership aspirations.
Applicants should have at least five years’ experience in small animal practice,
together with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) recognised for registration in Victoria. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively, communicating well with clients and colleagues, and providing a consistently high standard of care.
