Job Description

Central Coast Fuels PTY LTD Central Coast Fuels Pty Ltd, trading as Metro Petroleum Belmont, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Belmont service station. This role is responsible for leading all operational aspects of the site, including the fuel forecourt, convenience store, and associated facilities. You will ensure the site operates efficiently , delivering high levels of customer service, maintaining inventory and merchandising standards, managing staff, and ensuring full compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Task & Responsibilities

- Manage daily service station operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and customer-focused workplace
- Conduct regular safety inspections in line with Metro Petroleum standards and train staff on workplace health and safety procedures
- Monitor fuel and store inventory levels, perform daily reconciliations, and conduct weekly compliance checks.
- Maintain shop inventory and coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock availability, cost efficiency, and profitability
- Determine product mix, set retail pricing, and implement effective merchandising strategies
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, rostering, and supervision of staff




- Promote and implement marketing campaigns and in-store promotions as directed by Metro Petroleum head office
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and all relevant regulatory standards
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor revenue and expenses, and reconcile financial transactions
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, and financial performance
- Deliver high levels of customer service, resolve customer enquiries, and gather feedback to improve service delivery

Qualifications & Experience

- AQF Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar retail management role
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, support, and lead a team
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to drive sales and achieve business targets
- Experience in stock management and merchandising
